In collaboration with one another, the underlying infrastructure is developed, sponsored, and supported to enable these integrated and interoperable solutions, such as architectures, standards, protocols, common components, common products, and specifications. Additionally, advances in technology, and research to harness the power of emerging capabilities (such as Gaming, Virtual Worlds and Web 2.0 technology) are considered and integrated into the solutions, where appropriate.
