About Team Orlando

A Collaborative Alliance

First and foremost, Team Orlando is a unique collaborative alliance formed by US leading military simulation commands with the mission to research, develop, test, evaluate, acquire, and support training systems for all branches of the armed forces, the US Department of Defense, and other government agencies. But, it is more than that. Team Orlando is this unique military collaborative alliance supplemented, supported and augmented by academic and industry leaders in the modeling and simulation, human performance , and training domains.

Team Orlando is located within and around the Central Florida Research Park campus setting on the east side of the city of Orlando, adjacent to the University of Central Florida. This close physical collocation allows the primary simulation and training solution providers from the across the military Services to not only judiciously team with one another, but also team with leading experts in industry and academia.

A self-organized Team Orlando Board of Directors provides an effective means for communications and serves as a focal point for collaboration between defense entities. The Joint Training Integration and Evaluation Center is the Team Orlando collective representative and external Government customer point of entry for leveraging Team Orlando capabilities in support of their emerging requirements.
